Data services
The offer permanent bi-directional information transfer in digital form via end-points through the IP/MPLS and SDH circuits of the Energotel network and communications solutions for the virtual connection of the customer’s branch from a geographically remote location.
L2 services - Ethernet Line (E-Line) Service
The service is provided in point-to-point topology as an Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) between two UNI’s (User-to-Network Interface) in two variants:
- Transparent L2 transmission (tunneling of STP, VTP, CDP, LACP, PagP, UDLD) using the dedicated VLAN/AToM pseudowire in the Energotel network. The transfer point for both terminations of the service by Energotel is the Ethernet interface in access mode (unencrypted Ethernet frameworks).
- Transparent L2 transmission (tunneling of STP, VTP, CDP, LACP, PagP, UDLD) using 802.1Q tunneling technology (Q in Q). The transfer point for both end-of-service services by Energotel is the Ethernet interface in tunnel mode.
The service is provided in topology points – multipoints:
- In Location A, Energotel service is terminated at the Ethernet port with a DOT1Q trunk setting (the tagged Ethernet framework) with the VLAN ID of each B point. The VLAN ID must be the same in both the provider’s network and the customer’s network.
- At Location B (branch), the Energotel service is terminated at the Ethernet port in the configured access mode (unencrypted Ethernet framework).
L2 services - Ethernet LAN (E-LAN) Service (VPLS)
The service is provided in the multipoint- multipoint topology in two variants:
- Transparent L2 transmission (tunneling of STP, VTP, CDP) using a dedicated VLAN/MPLS tag in the Energotel network. The handover point of the service by Energotel is an Ethernet interface in the access mode (unencrypted Ethernet frameworks).
- Transparent L2 transmission (STP tunneling, VTP, CDP) using 802.1Q tunneling (Q in Q). The handover point of the service by Energotel is an Ethernet interface in the tunnel mode.
