Conference: “outsourcing cybersecurity”

When does monitoring end and an incident begin? Where is the line between technical detection and effective incident response? What can a Security Operations Centre (SOC) guarantee, and what remains the sole responsibility of the organisation?

These and many other important questions were discussed at the Outsourcing Cybersecurity conference held in the High Tatras under the auspices of eFOCUS.eu.

As the conference's main partner, Energotel, a.s., together with Michal Lonček, opened a discussion on a topic that companies often underestimate – responsibility. Understanding the division of responsibilities between a SOC provider and the organisation itself is essential for effective cybersecurity and successful incident management.
